Dual Credit Program

DUAL CREDIT

Dual credit is part of the Lone Star College System's exceptional admissions program, designed specifically for high school sudents who are ready for college-level instruction. Students who demonstrate college readiness on a placement exam can earn college as well as required high school credits simultaneously by attending dual credit classes either at Cypress Lakes High School or on the Lone Star College campus.

Advantages:

•Saves money due to reduced cost!

•Allows students to have a head start on college credits!

•Saves travel time to a college campus!

•Provides proof that the student is college ready!
